Hypercar Class Bigger Than Ever
62 Cars Set to Compete in Le Mans Classic
The Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) has released the entry list for the 92nd 24 Hours of Le Mans, and it is a who's who of motorsports. A total of 62 cars will take the start in the French endurance classic, including a record-breaking 16 in the Hypercar class.
Among the Hypercar entries are Toyota Gazoo Racing, Peugeot Sport, Ferrari AF Corse, and Cadillac Racing. These manufacturers will be fielding their latest and greatest prototypes, and they are all expected to be competitive. The Hypercar class is sure to provide some of the most exciting racing of the weekend.
In addition to the Hypercar class, the 24 Hours of Le Mans will also feature LMP2, LMGTE Pro, and LMGTE Am classes. There will be a total of 24 LMP2 cars, 21 LMGTE Pro cars, and 21 LMGTE Am cars on the grid. Some of the notable teams competing in these classes include Prema Racing, United Autosports, and AF Corse.
