According to sources, Watt suffered a badly dislocated finger and multiple torn ligaments during Sunday's victory against the Baltimore Ravens. The injury was later diagnosed as a Grade 3 MCL sprain, which is a complete tear of the medial collateral ligament.
Despite the severity of the injury, Watt continued to play and did not allow it to affect his performance.
The Steelers are concerned that Watts injury could be a significant setback in their pursuit of the AFC North title and a potential Super Bowl run.
